Carrie founded Che Locas in 2006 to "...beautify the feet of tangueras everywhere and to inspire men to dance with them."

Carrie distributes the legendary Comme il Faut shoes for women. As Carrie puts it, Comme il Faut "are fabulous, limited-edition works of art that, despite their distinctively outrageous appearance, are surprisingly comfortable and infinitely wearable."

She also carries NeoTango and Tara tango shoes, and clothing from TangoLeva!

Come by and see her new showroom in the basement of the Bossa Nova, next door to the Viscount dance studio on E Burnside. Regular viewing hours are Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm before my Level 4 classes, and most Sundays during the practica from 1-3pm.

The shoes and clothing will also be available for viewing by appointment, so feel free to contact Carrie to arrange other times.

Carrie says: "Bring your phone when you come to see me, because you'll need to call me from the front door so that I can come up to let you in. I know it's a little strange, but it's a start :) "
